My Active Baby
Daily baby exercises help shape your child’s proper movement patterns and encourages his or her physical development.
You should not skip any phase in the motor development of a child—try to focus on each of them in turn. Working together is fun; the connection between you and your child will be strengthened. The book gives courage and teaches you how to support your baby in his or her first year of life.
The author Maarja Sade demonstrates exercises for children, with her son. The exercises are depicted with photos, which make the whole process very easy to follow.
Maarja Sade studied physiotherapy at the University of Tartu’s Department of Physical Education and holds a Master’s degree in Health Sciences. The desire to work with babies arose during the final stage of her Bachelor’s degree under the direction of a physiotherapist at the Tartu University Children’s Hospital.
Today, Maarja Sade is a well-known and highly respected children’s physiotherapist, who gives classes for mothers. She not only actively popularizes the harmonious development of babies by creating special exercises for them but also provides comprehensive information for parents about the nuances of childcare.
